5 Felonies and I still got hired. Here is what I did...

I was getting discouraged because I have 5 felonies for marijuana cultivation and have done a total of about 7 years in prison for it all.

So I did this:
Right up front on my resume, in the very first paragraph I flat out told my story about my felonies. Until I did this I was not having much luck.

I figured it would save us both the time of filling out all kinds of job related paperwork just to have it all tossed out when it got to the "have you ever been convicted of a felony" part of the job application.

I sent this resume out to every ad that was advertising for a truck driver that I was interested in.

To my shock and amazement my email box started filling up with daily job offers to drive.
I am happy to say that I am now with a very reputable and high paying outfit working with some of the best people I have ever known and they are all very help full and supportive of me.

It was the best thing I ever did putting all my felony information right up front and in their face.

I will not let this out fit down for giving me a chance. So do not be discouraged at all. I think they like the honesty about it.

Please don't waste their time or yours if you know you can't pass a piss test.....and keep it clean!
