I'm a truckers wife. Its very hard because the reason why I married him was to be with him. And that never is the case.

I thought my hubby would only be thinking of me when he got home. But I found out he's been watching porno. He forgets I have feelings.

I call him he always saying honey there ice on the roads. Oh there's o bear_term for cop. And I tell him is there someone with you?

Now ladies I get this feeling all the time. He tells me I'm crazy. I'm so sick of staying with him but I bite the bullet for our babies.

Sweetie rest your mind all of the thinking you are going through is not worth the time. Thinking is not proof. Until you have facts and evidence he is not gulity. Ask yourself. Really am I going to sit around all day and night assuming? To me this just doesnt make sense. Yes some of is have a second sense, but once again do I have proof? If the answer is no then you are wasting precious time and energy. Self talk... what can I do with my day to better my life than sitting around worrying about bad things? Sure in the beginning we freak out but if we use our time being happy about life, theres no time to be miserable. Good jobs are very scarce and they are providing for us right? Take the good into condideration. Have you ever been overwhelmed at your job? Has anyone pressured you while you were working? It doesn't feel good. Our husbands are on the job, why would we want to put them under that type of pressure while they are working? These men hold 1000s of lives in thier hands while driving. We must consider this for the sake of human kind. It isnt in our favor whrn we ask them relationship types of questions while working. Even if we wait until they pull over to bring it up, it could cause them to not rest properly. We must think of others sometimes before ourselves. It only takes one time to upset a driver and poof they are gone. Maybe we wait, make a nice dinner, put the kids down for bed, let him rest with a movie, relax you know, then when you feel the need talk to him restrain from accusing just plain talk people absorb good talk better than bad talk. I have read most of the comments and unless you have kids and have been in this situation then you have no clue.(except for violence,physical or verbal) There are many reasons to try and make your marriage work and your Kids are at the top of that list.Just read up on divorce it will ruin your kids. And it is a very selfish act and usually all about the person pushing for it (Marriage is all about compromising from both people in the marriage).if your man is cheating on you it is not the end of the world its just sex in most cases(i dont agree with it and if it is happening it needs to stop but it is fixable) been married 19 years me and my wife have been through it all 3 kids lost my daughter when she was six years old we where 7 years into our marriage this almost end us but we stayed together for our son who had lost enogh at this point.We went from poor to rich to poor again to middle class.Had some almost cheating(flurting no sex)on both sides.But we got through it. It was tough but our marriage is stronger and we love each other more know then when we got married.Nothing and nobody is perfect you make it what it is. At one point in our marriage i wanted out and really dislike everything about my wife BUT know she is truly my best friend and a fantastic lover we make love 3 to 5 times a week. No we are not old either we got married young at 19.we both believe that The relationship we have know was only possible through the trails and tribulations we have had in our marriage over the years.

I was a long haul truck driver for six and a half years before I started wrenching. I had a LTR the entire time I was a driver. Although being on the road away from my X was hard I never once cheated. Point in fact I was always disgusted by the ladies of the night on the road. At 35 years old I've never had an STD. I'd like to keep it that way thank you very much! Plus I was devoted and very much in love. I could not look at another woman without remembering the one I had back home. It kept me from making mistakes. Also fatigue never kept me from staying up all night when I got home if you catch my drift. If that's the problem then there is prolly something else going on. Dont waste your time on an unfaithful man. Babies make it hard to walk away from a relatioship, but you have to make healthy decisions for you as well. Kids are a terrible reason to stay in an unhealthy relationship.

I hope to shed some light that might give you some hope. I’m a long hauler and have been so for almost 30 years. I’ve never been in relationship (work keeps me from being able to get well acquainted enough with any ladies for relationship). However, I’ve been a devout celibate Christian longer than I’ve been driving truck.

Some men, like myself, are really tired when we come home. By the time we’re rested enough to feel normal again, it’s time to go back to work and the cycle continues. It may not be that he’s unfaithful, but, if he’s open to having discussions with you, a solution can be found. Perhaps he may be able and willing to do shorter runs with more home time. Road fatigue can skew a man’s thinking so that he’s not able to set proper priorities as he would when he’s not fatigued.

A lack of interest in sex does not necessarily mean that he doesn’t love you, is no longer attracted to you, or is cheating.

It might be good to let him know that you value and appreciate him enough to voice your concerns and ask him to value you enough to listen to you.

I hope that this helps and that you can save your relationship.

My man is a long haul truck driver. He comes home once a week. We use to have regular sex once a week. Now he tells me he's tired, leave me alone and that he only wants to have sex once a month or once every 2 weeks now. I'm not allowed to approach him or initiate sex with him. It is now only on his terms. What am I suppose to think? I didn't get into a relationship with him to have sex once a month or twice a month. The thing is our relationship is still fairly new not even two years yet.

I've been married for 46 years and for 12 of those years my husband was a trucker, retiring just a year ago. I can not tell you how many STD's my husband gave me while on the road and of course always denying it. I obviously gave him a pass since I didn't leave him years ago, but now because of age and finances am stuck here. It started with lot lizards and ended up with escorts, some being his regulars. Not saying all truckers are like this, just be careful.

I can't speak for your husband but as a Lady Trucker I have to tell you that it's not a vacation out on this road. I miss my husband and kids continuously. Unfortunately, calls are interrupted due to various reasons. I sometimes get so sad when hearing my family on the phone, I no longer can maintain conversation.
About companionship, it definitely gets lonely. Porn is as safe as it gets out here.

As adults, we all have choices. Porn or a prostitute? Try to change your prospective.

This career provides for my family in a way that no other job can compare. I will say this, if you guys want your marriage to work you have to be creative. Make videos for him, have phone sex and buy for sexy lingerie and keep positive thoughts in his head. Men are physically stronger than us but we are the strength that hold things together. He has to always know that you are with him (not just for the kids). He's out there to provide for his family.
