Martiy needs to know about Lisa Laines

Well, Pardner, I drove for FFE/Americam Eagle a total of 17 months in '96,'97,'99. FFE, American Eagle, Lisa Motor Lines, Great Western, Middleton Transportation, and a couple more are/were under the umbrella of a Corp called Conwell.

I believe they scrapped Middleton Transportation and possibly Great Western. Plus a company out of San Antonio. FFE and American Eagle, refer and dry, are based out of Lancaster, Tx, while Lisa Motor Lines is based out of Fort Worth.

Lisa is refrigerated and does meat/chicken, but no produce. Conwell corp has about 1700 trucks. Conwell was founded 1946, so they are established and your paycheck will be good. I was most happy driving for American Eagle, because they're dry freight. They do have lease purchase and company driver and O/O. This company has been operated by the same family since its founding.

Now, mind you, I haven't been there since '99, but my main complaint was lack of home time. I lived in San Diego and Riverside, Ca. P.S. They do run 48 states. So give them a shot, keep us posted. Jimmy
