Can a leaking cac cause a vibration during acceleration?

by Jeff
(Scottsboro Al)

Ok, i have an 03 pete 379 with a 6nz cat. I have a strange vibration plus a roaring sound under acceleration. I've replaced u joints, all wheel bearings, set ride height to spec, checked and changed transmission oil and rearend dope.

I think my cac is leaking due to the usual signs, quick to heat up, fuel mileage down a bit and low boost. I'm just wondering if it could be the cause of my problem. Thanks for any help

What is a CAC?
by: Hervy

I have no idea Jeff. I will pose this question to my mechanic tomorrow. But does CAC stand for something or will he know what CAC is if I just say CAC?
