Can a type 1 diabetic possess a cdl and drive trucks?

I am a type 1 diabetic and I was thinking about being a truck driver. Since I have diabetes can I do this?

You can driver a truck with diabetes. You will have to get a medical exam and then fill out the application for exemption. here are links that should help you find out the specifics.
