can i get training and a job with a felony back in 2000 and a two misdemenors two years ago and a suspended license one year ago?

I have a felony back in 2000 and two misdemeanors two years ago and a suspended license one year ago for no ins.

My driving record before that is clean. I was going to attend Cr England had my bags packed and was leaving this weekend and they call and say its a no go because my license was suspended a year ago and i have not had my license for three years or long enough after my suspension.

Look i have made a lot of mistakes and not happy about them at all. I'm reminded of them every time i try to better myself. I live in a very small town that is a trap with no jobs and no chance to get out and if i stay its never going to get better.

My biological father drives a truck and all i have ever wanted to do is drive a truck. I have waited for over ten years to drive because of my felony but now they say it hAS to be ten years from the time you get off paper.

so you can imagine my disgust when i was all ready to go and my dreams crushed when they told me that. I don't get it.

How is it that they would take me with my felonies and misdemeanors but not with my license?

I really want to get into this and any help would be appreciated. thanks. Jeremy
