I have a truck driving job and was told i will loose it if i am diagnosed with diabetes

you should be able to keep your CDL with Diabetes under certain conditions

It depends on the type of diabetes and if it is under control. If you have type 2 it can be controlled with prescription drugs, diet and exersize.

Also you need to keep you A1 C less than 8. You should check with your Dr and with your state, most have a website that has rules posted. You should also check out the American Diabetes Associations website. It has a wealth of info on your rights. But you shouldn't lose your cdl as long as you take care of yourself.
