more trucker drivers letting other truck drivers know its okay to use drugs and to just complete a drug class! makes a lot of sense?? well I will be supplying this info to someone who should be changing this rule! No truck driver should get a chance at driving on the road again whether or not if they were high on the road commercially or in a personal vehicle!! They are a road risk period!

I'm a Pipeline Steward for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters! You should not lose your license from either drug test! Trucking companies mostly drug test due to the requirements of there insurance carrier! Unless you are operating at the time of a stop by law enforcement you should be ok! It may be possible to lose points on your license! On the other hand it's recorded and a record kept of it by D.O.T. and an independent auditor especially if you were working under The National Pipeline Agreement! Many companies will want to see a certificate of completion from a drug class before they will hire you! You may have to notify future employer's depending upon there application requirements!
