They will hire anybody regardless of your past, and how long its been. Give them a call at 803-789-3100. or check out their website at carolinacargo.com. Hope this helps.
Ladies and gentleman, I apologize for the way you were treated in the past. We have reviewed our policies as well as our pay and have made MANY changes. We are actually making pay raises and changes to bonuses constantly to give drivers what they deserve. We understand its hard work being a driver, let along being away from your family. Without you guys on this world, a trucking company would be nothing. I am so happy to offer you guys all an interview, and I am more than happy to break down the cost of your trips while being completely honest. I've spent an hour on the phone helping a guy figure out the EXACT cost of what he would make and NOT what is advertised. If you are not interested in interviewing, I am also happy to hear out any feedback you have of what you do not like about a trucking company and what you do like in hopes we can make you more comfortable and consider even more changes. It's nice to hear what the trucker has to say, because we are in the office. We don't know the hard ships like you guys do, let me know what you want from a trucking company. I am happy to try. We also do not split pay between team drivers, we will pay you for every single mile that is put on that truck whether its you driving or your partner. If this is something you are interested in hearing, please contact me at 803-899-0112. My name is Tiffany. Thank you.

Convict Cargo is a scamNEW by: Andrew,
I recently worked for Convict cargo, HR and recruiting are the best part of this place, I was in a wreck in texas May 3rd 2014 with one of their so called "trained" drivers, I just got a call today 6/24/2014 from the collection agency for the Hospital in San Antonio, wanting me to pay the bill from the wreck, these cheap bastards wont even pay hospital bills for employees not at fault AND I had to take a drug test for sleeping in the sleeper Berth while the codriver was crashing us into a barrier between the highways, I was a lead driver"responsible for EVERYTHING" but no addional pay, before that I was assualted by my trainer,I never once recieved ANY type of bonus for anything, they promise bonuses for early drops and on time drops, in 3.5 months I was late once because of a "codriver", after all that they fired me because " I cant get along with other so called drivers, because I dont trust other people driving while Im sleeping, trust me when I say this is the worst place to apply, not only will they screw you and not keep their promises, the dispatchers are all snotty hateful bitches that have no clue what a driving job is like, hopefully the lawsuit im putting on them will make public how shitty this company is, the trucks are held together with bailin twine and duct tape LITERALLY, all around the worst place Ive ever worked, money sucks the people suck and the equipment sucks

I googled this company by: Anonymous
I found a bunch of results that were not too well. the funny thing is I go to call the number and it always goes to voicemail. The stuff I read about them they exploit felons and they call other companies tellin them not to hire these people that work for them. And they are real bad to the felons working for them
