How old do I have to be in order to get my CDL and can I get a truck driving job at the age of 20? I'm 19 now but my birthday is in october.

What's Happening Tramaine,

You can get your Florida CDLs at 18 to drive within (intrastate) the state of Florida as a trucker.

You can't drive as a trucker across state lines until you are 21.
