Currently trucking locally in Iowa but it getting slow because of season change, who needs flat bed driver?

Hi, my name is Tim, and I graduated from truck driving school in Nov. 2010. I have been working as a truck driver for the last month out of Sioux City, Iowa.
I have been hauling flatbed (and curtain side) trailers hauling lumber for local work. It is a local job - home every night. Because winter is coming up, there are fewer loads, and I would like to keep working.
I am happy here otherwise, but I need something more stable. I have a tanker endorsement. No hazmat yet, but I also have a TWIC and a Canada-USA FAST cards. Please help.
