it depends on what type of job you are applying for and what state you live in....if its for trucking you must report your criminal record because they do full justice reports on truck drivers and they will find it and not hire you for lying...

in retail you dont have to report 10 year old crimes or drug charges over 2 years old in the state of California (however, violence and sex crimes must be reported) and most applications indicate this so pay attention to the app if it says to report then report your crimes it doesn't mean you wont get the job so take a chance and dont stop putting in apps sooner or later someone will pick you up no matter what the job is...

YES YES YES When you fill out your application be HONEST about everything. If you do put it on your app, they could and probably will not hire you because you were not honest.
