Does my regular driving license record effect me in, obtaining my cdl?

I have four points on my driving record; it's from driving in the Hov lane with only one person in the vehicle. The other two points are from hitting a parked car in my college parking lot.

I have no DUI's/DWI's! Will any of the above hinder me for consideration of acceptance for my class A cdl?

Joshua you can still get your CDL, the question is will the trucking companies hire you. You need to call around to different trucking companies and see what kind of response you get from them about your record.
