Needing a driver for fall harvest on our family grain farm. Some off road driving then mostly gravel dirt roads and maybe 30-40 percent pavement depending on where we are hauling to.

I have older well kept Peterbilts with Wilson or Timpte hopper trailers. It requires some mechanical skills to unload at the farm into a tractor powered auger, and some maneuvering skills which I think would be easy compared to OTR.

About half will go to our grain storage the other half to commercial elevators in small towns. There is little traffic, one has to be somewhat careful on assessing the condition of the gravel roads.

The harvest season normally runs late Sept to early November 6 days a week.

Fun but productive work environment.
