Driver with news for other drivers who have not driven for a few year's and looking to get back in the driver's seat

For all those driver's on here that cannot find work because you do not have recent experience I found one company who I work for before that does not share the same BS policies the other companies and insurance dictates.


USEXPRESS counts 18 mo verifiable exp within the last 10 yrs , I have been out since 2008 and they are going to hire me without having to go out with a trainer for 3 months like most others .

Pass your road test and you get a truck !!! Call my recruiter who helped me and given him my name. USX " FORD " at 800-251-6291 xt 3574 and my name is Daniel Wyllie .

Thank God my 14 yrs exp was not flushed down the toilet by this company and I don't have to do back flips to drive again !

That is company policy , 18 MO IN LAST 10YRS . I was not " gifted acceptance " as you stated . You do take a chance if you're rusty and forgot how to back ! All auto's if you forgot how to shift ...... Even if they think you need an extra week it beats 3 months with a trainer ! If your good you'll be fine and in a truck after day 3 .

Usxpress as I stated is the only company I have found that is laxed with insurance requirements of " must have recent experience or go with a trainer for 3 months ! " . As I said if you can verify 18 mo withing the last 10 yrs all you have to do is take a little longer road test and back more than the others . If you are fine you're in . If not then they have you stick around and practice 40hrs at the terminal . It is like riding a bicycle . After 14 yrs it is all second nature for most like myself . So long as I don't have to sit in a class for a week and go with a trainer for 10 to 30,000 miles usx was the best choice for me .
