Drug use on application and during interview process

I know I would pass a drug test since I have been drug free for 1.5 years. However, I do not want to lie on my application or anytime during an interview process with a truck driving company.

Would I get hired by a truck driving company if I said I used drugs 1.5 years ago? It was a little pot and I was an occasional user.
