Economy being what it is how does one buy a truck

Just came out of a lease w/major co,lost my butt however would still prefer owning my own truck. Have tried to find something on line but to no avail. I know drivers are loosing trucks every day and would love to pick one up on take over payment basis but find no place to contact those who want to get out from under their anchor. any ideas on where to look??
