Ex Felon Wanting To Drive! Do trucking companies do a fingerprint check?

I was convicted of 2 felonies back in 2007 while serving in the military. My convictions do not show on a background check but do show up if a company does a fingerprint check. So my question is, do trucking companies do a regular background check or fingerprint check or both? Pleas help.
