Just a warning; the IL DMV loves to fail experienced drivers that try to switch their cdl to IL from another state. It's some kind of cultural thing within the IL DMV.
The #1 area they flunk is the Pre-trip inspection and #2 is parallel parking.
They will laugh at you and make smart remarks such as "Hahaha, sorry I couldn't help you, hahaha!" 0r, "Hahaha, better luck next time,hahaha!"
I wish you success in dealing with those clowns, but don't be too optimistic.
