Failed non- dot drug test over a year ago

I've never had a cdl or worked in thwamego trucking industry but I am interested in getting into it. I failed a non-dot drug test and was terminated from a utility job over a year. Stupid weekend in Colorado I know I messes up.

Anyway trying to find a company that will maybe over look this if I pay for the my own cdl training and all of that. Anyone know if I staND a chance??
