With certain felonies, it's tough to find a truck driving job and of get cdl a. A lot of companies with felonies must be 10 years old or older and cannot be on parole or probation.
With felony for drugs, it's goin to be hard for you until u ur felony gets 10 years or older. A lot of truck driving schools have same policies as the trucking companies do that goes through that school to hire new drivers.
But if want to get license but wait until your felony is past 10 years old before look a driving job, then don't see why a truck driving school won't work with you...unless it's fact that they get a kick back pay off from them trucking companies for the trainees that did greater than others and of can hold hazmat, twic card and get a passport to go into Canada.
Ppl with misdemeanors and felonies of certain kinds can't go into Canada...especially of drug related criminal record. I know so because I have a drug misdemeanor that's about to come we years old and I can't get cross into canada, crossing into Canada with certain misdemeanors and felonies in a commercial vehicle results in being arrested by the Canada police and charge with a felony which their felony charges up there is if found guilty is life in prison And the company will not receive their truck and trailer and the cargo back.
So when apply to companies make it clear that you will not go to no Canada.
