Female looking to get into trucking.

I currently have my class b cdl with a ps endorsement. I know or assume that I need to get my class a. I drive a bus for greyhound. I am looking at getting into trucking. How does the pay work? Currently I am paid by the hour. According to all the ads and things ya'll are paid by the mile is that it? Also any tips for the best trucking schools close to the middle Tennessee area. Any good tips or someone to talk to female.

I spoke to a lady at a company back in the summer. She is a recruiter but they don't take non experienced drivers, however she said she would recommend Schneider's training program for new drivers.

Your right you will need your Class A and yes most of us are paid by the mile, especially if you go over the road.
