Fighting back against a crooked Trucking Company

I am a trucker's wife and I am very frustrated with an Idaho Trucking Company that my husband used to work for.

He was getting $100.00 a week paychecks.Their payroll was 3 weeks behind. Their trucks were always breaking down and he had to work with faulty equipment.

He had to clean several trucks before he could drive them. Some of the truck drivers left their jugs of pee in hot closed up trucks that were broken down.

The mattress looked like it had been peed on. The company exposed my husband to a bio-hazard situation by having him transport a driver seat that was in a wreck from Tennesee to Denver.

The driver in that seat cut his leg open. It was wrapped in plastic but as soon as he pulled into the yard he was taken away to the hospital for a Hep-C test & shot. His truck was plastered with bio-hazard stickers and parked. My husband's dispatcher told him to rip those stickers off and get moving. There was no regard whatsoever for his safety.

He finally quit the company last august but in Feb. of this year he recieved a letter from the owner of the company saying that it was discovered in their books that there was $2,000.00 worth of damage done to the truck he was driving and they wanted it paid. There was no itemized list or repair bills or anything. It just said you owe this money.

Today my husband got a call from the collection agency about that bill. Still, no explanation as to what this is all about. What do we do?

We were told that this company has at least 29 complaints with the Labor board. I can see this going to court because we do not owe this money. What can we do? Their driver turnover is outrageous.

We have sent letters to the Attorney General, the Better Busisness Bureau and the labor board.

I wrongfully terminated from Paschall Truck Lines out of Murray Kentucky by a guy named James Cooper for supposedly putting beer cans in their motel trash can & they said they took pictures of the beer cans,And the thing of it I never went to a liquor store or a convenience store the whole entire time I was in Murray Kentucky Trucking companies like this need to be stopped period

I am a 76 yr old Senior citizen, in March 2020 I went to a hotshot company in burleson Tx to lease on my Truck to company, as orientation ended my foot swole up with a gout making me unable to drive, the company offered the furnish a driver, so I accepted the offer, they paid me decently 2 weeks then the settlement became spread out maybe once or twice a month, they told me the radiator was leaking and didn't run for 2 weeks later I received toll booth violations for the time the truck was suppose to be sitting, they are running my truck and keeping the profits. I told them I was breaking the lease, they are intent on taking my truck, I have very little money, what can I do?

It's simple demand a signed contract front and back from them. Indicate you want the contract that the collection company has with you. Demand a written response within 30 days. Send it registered mail keep copies. They won't respond. Happens every time. It's the chance the collection agencies take. It's why they buy the debtor pennis on the dollar

Panther expedited is the new biggest scam operation in the cargo van and trucking industry.the company panther pickles the driver in between the van owner.which is aka "the fleet manager".

They simply pass the buck back and forth playing supper dumb when you are trying to get your money pried out of their greedy hands,which you will not ever get.I called dispatch on my fleet manager about he is probably on some hard drugs not paying me.missing money every payday.

I'm talking hundreds into the thousands. They say "Oooooh, we don't get involved.But if something seems funny with the load they call me asap.they also say we don't talk to drivers.

I'm like WTF!!!!!!I wish everyone could see how ugly these people talk to and treat there drivers. They are spineless rich upper class arrogant kids ruining good people and their familys.

Well, my husband got another call from the collection agency concerning this money that is supposedly owed to his former company. Still there is no itemized bill or explanation for what or why he should pay this. How do we put a stop to it? Any suggestions? Can't afford a lawyer, so what now?

OOIDA ARE THE BIGGEST CROOKS IN THE UNITED STATES, THEY TAKE DUES FROM TRUCKERS, FILE A FRIVOLOUS LAWSUIT AGAINST SOME TRUCKING COMPANY AND NEVER GET THE OWNER OPERATOR NOTHING. THESE PEOPLE HAVE NEVER EVEN DRIVEN A TRUCK BEFORE. THESE GUYS ARE CROOKS.

I contacted the OOIDA and was told my husband needed a Transportation lawyer. If we could afford a lawyer this would have been wrapped up along time ago. They were no help at all.

I do like the website truckerreport.com. I have gotten a lot of response from other drivers. This is a really good website.

My husband is working for a fantastic company now. He is treated very well. I guess we just needed to weed thru the crap to get this far.

So far you have done everything you can do, do not pay, they can't prove your husband did this to these trucks and with the time span that it took for them to even send that letter they don't have a leg to stand on, i would also report this trucking company to OOIDA, they will look into it there also there for company drivers as well and you don't have to be a member, go on to truckers report.com and list your complaint there as well, GOOD LUCK

Unscrupulous Trucking Companies

I have worked for this company in Arcadia, Indiana. I have been working with them for two months now and have received vertically nothing. While I have made them over twenty thousand dollars.

I am going to loose my new car, I lost my home and ALL my possessions. I am going to have to file bankruptcy, because I know enabled to pay any bills. What makes it even worse is that they laughed at me, the second I that they claim that they are CHRISTIANS!!!!???? BULLSH%T !!!!!!!
