forgot to set parking brake on truck and it rolled down hill, hit power pole. my lease contract was terminated. how will this affect my driving career?

Its just something you have to find out about first hand man. Obviously it will definitely hurt you. The $ amount of damage will be a factor in addition to the incident.

Put in applications and see what happens. A lot of companies won't touch you until that is a year old. Maybe someone will give you a shot.

I know things happen man. Nothing you can do but see how it plays out.
