Future trucker driver

I am a retired male and i am seriously considering going into truck driving. Back in the late 90's, i went to truck driving school, was able to get my permit, hazmat, airbreaks, tanker, combination and doubles .

went on the road driving for three weeks, so hopely after getting my training to get my cdl license, decided that at that time, i didn't or thought of being on the road would work out for me. The company, which i won't mention their name never really never treated me well.

I know now that i am good a team member. Do my job to the best of ability, and feel safe having to drive with a co driver.
I am looking at a trucking company i am interested.
If anyone has any good suggestions i am all ears, as they say.
