George Lowell

I obtained my class B CDL from Allstate Commercial Driver Training in Shelton, CT in February 2010. I have been actively seeking employment as a driver since then.

The thought of being a truck driver has always intrigued me. It is a change from my past employment but a challenge that I embrace.

I am a hard working, reliable worker with a near perfect attendance record wherever I have been employed. I am a team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done.

All I need is a chance to show what I can do.

I got my B license from A.B Training Center in Waterford last December (2009). It took me about 3 and a half months to get my first job. It's not easy because the insurance companies want 1 year experience and how are you supposed to get that one year experience if nobody will hire you. Just make a very good resume and use the certificate that you got in school. That will help. You most likely will be doing something that you may not entirely like to get your experience. I delivered beer and I really didn't like it all that much but I stuck it out and now I have just about a year experience.

I am starting All State today for my class a. I am looking forward to seeing what it's like being that it's one on one. Good luck George.
