No matter if you have gps or not you need to have a atlas and know how to use it. Gps systems can loose signal, break, or whatever and you need a atlas to back you up. However companies will most likely not give you either. Also when looking into Gps systems you need to be knowledgable of what your buying. These can come with and without trucker routes available. If you get your regular garmin or whatever it could run you into a bridge or take you on a restricted route so make sure you pay attention.

some do but its more to track you and the frieght.

but some then know where you exactly are and cN SEND YOU DIRECTIONS VIA A MESSAGE BOQRD, QUALCOMM ETC. BUT YOU DONT GET TOO SEE WHERE YOU ARE LIKE A GARMIN ETC..
