Have North Carolina CDL drove OTR but not recently

I just want someone to let me show them what I can do so I can start driving. I never had any idea it was going to be this hard to find a company that wanted me to come from a school 3mths, 6mths or a yr of driving experience.

Yes it has been years since I drove but I have have driving some this past yr at my job with my permit. And I still have the knowledge I did when I drove before.

I drove for CAT out of Covington, VA. I did Canada, California, Florida and Texas runs. I don't have a problem riding with someone until they can see what i can do but most companies I am seeing won't even give you that opportunity.

I would be willing to drive at least 4 weeks or how ever many with minimal pay to show what I can do and for them to feel comfortable. Because if not I have no idea how I am ever going to get a job.

I have a clean driving record. I just stopped driving to be with my child and now he is almost grown and doesn't need me as much. So I wanted to get back on the road.
