Have permit but need trucking and trailer in Houston for road test

Houston TX ... I have CDL permit but need truck & trailer for road test. Had CDL for 10 years plus but let it go.

Just trying to get reinstated.

Texas DMV won't let you take a road test until you pass the pre-trip inspection.

It's not that easy any more. The road test is the easy part, it's the 150 point pre-trip inspection that fails most people. You must touch each of the 150 points on the truck/trailer, say to the DMV instructor, what the part is and what you are looking for.
Why not consider a refresher course; this way you can be brought up to date on the latest rules & regulations and the pre-trip inspection.
