Hazmat endorsement back grounds checks

I am studying for my CDL-A-B, with all the endorsements. I just found out that I would have to go though a finger print and back ground check for the Hazmat.

I would like to know what kind of Criminal offenses is the state looking for, to prevent you from getting a Hazmat Endorsement? Please respond asap.
