Houston driver seeking a trucking job

My name is Jykeith Thornton, I reside in Houston Texas.

I have Class A Cdl,but have been out of
school since August 2014.

I have no experience and a 7 year old Felony conviction in Houston,Tx.

Who will hire/retrain me that is local?

Need refresher.

Why does the training have to be local?
Many companies will give you refresher training that aren't in Houston and they'll provide transportation plus meals and lodging.

Trucking job with no recent experience

Jykeith definitely look in your local Craigslist man.

However, you said you have NO experience. If that was accurately stated, as opposed to no recent experience, likely you will have to go back to trucking school.

Western Express and Averitt has refresher course but I think you have to have some experience to take it.

It is for someone who stopped driving a few years ago and just need to prove that he/she can still drive.
