My OTR driver husband is gone 2 & 3 months.NEW by: Cherie
Try that on for size. He's addicted to the money. We've been together 25 yrs, 14 yrs he's been a OTR. I start going nuts after 24 days of him being gone. I miss his presence around me and the house. We've been through hell and back, and are still together. We don't have the drama most marriages have. No kids, just 4 legged babies. I miss him more than he will ever know. We talk every day with out fail. I was alone all my childhood. I'm not real thrilled about it in my old age. Is there anyone else out there that goes months without there mate?????? Thank you!

Be Solid.NEW by: chris
Answer the phone when he calls, and have worthwhile conversations. Don't get emotions upset for any. Text him often, relate to what we are going through out here, and the possibility of you being out here with him. It is more than communication, it is about always being available.

Keep yourself busy!! My husband is an O/O (owner/operator) and gone about 3 weeks at a time. He'll be home for about 2-3 days like once a month. I go to school full time, I have great family and friends that always invite me too do things and i have 2 dogs i adore. Our kids are grown so I'm dealing with empty best syndrome as well. It definitely gets lonely but I've learned so much being alone all the time. Good luck!!!

That's a piece of cake, try 3 weeks or more on average. Good god he won't make much.
