How do you get a vision exemption?

Need a vision exemption to go to school. How long will it take, how difficult to receive one?

I believe there should be visual exemptions for individuals that are born with a visual defect and have dealt with it all their lives.I was born with 20/200 visual defecit in left eye.I have been driving a motor vehicle since 1981 without an accident or major ticket.for any violation with points.I have been around and in trucking industry all my life. I have even driven my late husband's truck with company permission due to medical emergency with him.I drove flatbed all the way to destination from Pa. to North Carolina and back.Pretty good for no cdl.I was even paid for it along with late husband's pay.
