Well that's a tricky one.

Even by narrowing it down to OTR truckers you still have 1,000's of trucking companies and countless ways in which they run their business.

That said, a great number of large carriers promise between 2200 and 2800 per week.

However, you need to understand it's much easier to get an average for the month than the wee.

From week to week too many different things can happen that alters the miles a trucker is able to run.

One week the miles might be 1800 and the next is 3500. Cause a delivery might pick up on early Friday and not deliver until Monday.

Or a similar set of circumstances that throws numbers off.

So what you want to do is find the company your interested in and ask them the average miles for a driver who drives the number of weeks you plan on driving without going home.

Because if you compare the average of someone who goes home more often or less often than you are planning to, again it will make what you can expect different from what his/her average miles ran were.
