I just want to know better how internet cargo and shipping work .I know there is manny place where u can check online for oportunities ,

Finding Freight by the internet. load boards

It's my understanding that shippers or brokers will contact or contract with the load boards in order for them to post the freight that is available. some load boards allow the shipper to post.

The load board website that handles the freight runs the software to manage this database of loads.

A listing of the loads is available to others who may also pay a fee for access or it can be free for some load boards like the one in the truck stops.

When a driver sees a load he/she is interested in they use the information to call for further information about the load and discuss the important specifics like pay, weight, delivery day, etc.
