i have my cdl. i have not been behind the wheel for 3 years i want and need to get back to driving but no company will touch me what is my best avenue to get back to driving again

If you have a valid cdl i see no reason why any company would not hire you as a trainee not solo driver where you'll be under the tutledge of an experienced driver a lot of companies have programs for former drivers who are a little rusty so you would only need to train about half the time a driver would who had absolutely no experience other then truck driving school.

Another possibility is consider running team some companies are willing to bring u on as a 2nd seat driver with the idea it wouldn't take you too long to pick it back up again if you don't mind teams.

If you are looking to get hired as a solo that's out of the question no one will hire you without a certain amount or recent experience your record is a factor also background get on the net get your name out there they'll be calling good luck

I reccomend you call some of the demolition companies in your town and also the county will hire you to drive a dump truck if you have a clean background
