When you're using one of these http://www.12volt-travel.com/12-volt-televisions-c-684.html 12Volt-TV's you will not need a power inverter. Just plug it into the lighter socket outlet in your truck.

Kay I never bother mounting a TV i the truck but truckstop has mounts for computers and I am sure they have them for the tv too.

You might find more variety and better prices here at 12volts website though, it's got the inverters, tvs and the mounts and a bunch of other stuff so compare the prices.
