How young of a child can you take on the road with you?

I would like to take my wife and daughter with me when I drive but how young of a child can you take with you? My daughter is one.

There is no federal law that prohibits a child of any age from riding in the truck.

However, many trucking companies will have age limits for children. Some won't even allow children.

So if it is your plan to take a child with you to explore trucking life make sure the trucking company allows it.
