got a DUI in Idaho they suspended my license. lost my job.

ive been driving for 15 years over 1 million otr safe driving with doubles. any advice i contested the suspension waiting for answer

You do that when your preparing to meet with a panel of judges who will decide to remove your revocation of your license. If you pass that stage then you have to pay the reinstatement fee. I don't know yet if you'll get your CDL back unless maybe if it hasn't expired yet. If it has i would think you'll have to take a written test. But, I don't think the insurance companies will allow a DUI offender to drive a big truck unless you have at least three years from it. I have been to a website with companies that will hire you after only three years after your DUI, most are five and some are seven and ones that won't hire you at all.
I will find out in a couple of months since i'm in this situation. If I remember i will let everyone know the out come. I live in Illinois and it was my second in 2010 and the first was in 1996. Was in my own car, lost my job cause of it. Major blow to me and my family that I will never drink again. Hopes this helps alittle good luck and God bless you all.
