I've been driving with a Class B CDL for a few years now and would like to get working in the oilfields in Texas, but it seems that all of them require a Class A with hazmat & tanker- most require at least a year's experience but a few don't.
That's fine, but in order to get my Class A, all of the schools have their hands out for thousands of dollars to train students.
If I attend a school I want to make sure an employer really requires it, so my real question is if there are any oilfield employers that will sponsor training to overcome this hurdle?
Comments for I have a Class B CDL and would like to know if there are any companies that will sponsor CDL training for South Texas oilfield jobs.
