I have a Class B CDL and would like to know if there are any companies that will sponsor CDL training for South Texas oilfield jobs.

I've been driving with a Class B CDL for a few years now and would like to get working in the oilfields in Texas, but it seems that all of them require a Class A with hazmat & tanker- most require at least a year's experience but a few don't.

That's fine, but in order to get my Class A, all of the schools have their hands out for thousands of dollars to train students.

If I attend a school I want to make sure an employer really requires it, so my real question is if there are any oilfield employers that will sponsor training to overcome this hurdle?

Try trucking in texas

Do a search for oilfield jobs and contact the companies. Ask them will they give you a written guarantee for employment or train you for CDL for a contract of service.

You might try Schneider too. oilfield trucking jobs
