I have a speeding ticket does that effect my cdl or geeting a contract? If so for how long ?

I received a speeding ticket while driving my car. I'm a resident in the state of Georgia. Will this affect CDL?

I recently applied for employment with a company and was decline employment.

Andrew, 1 speeding ticket shouldn't hold you back from getting a trucking job. However, you won't get every job you apply for.
