I would like to know if I went to a trucking school ten years ago and failed the drug test and it shows up on DAC how i can dispute that? Can anyone help me ?

I would like to know if I went to a trucking school ten years ago and failed the drug test and it shows up on DAC how i can dispute that?

The trucking school has been shut down for years. The new trucking school said I would not be able to attend any school or get a job. How is this possible?

The recruiter for the school did tell me that if i failed a drug test today they would send me too a SAP program and i could get a job. How does this work?

I have been clean for nine years. I have graduated college and have a really good job.

Just want to be a trucker since this is my childhood dream. My children are finally grown. Can anyone help me ?

Samantha, I don't know if the information you got was accurate. Here is how you dispute the DAC Report correcting DAC report

I would call trucking companies and ask them if they would hire you with your past after trucking school. Congrats on finishing college by the way.

besidesif you have a current cdl there are compays out ther that will hire you. i work for one of them. if you have any questions feel free to ask and i can foward them to my dot girl here.

DAC Report: NEW

First; a DAC report will only go back ten years. Whatever your violation was, it will fall off after ten years. You can get a free copy of your DAC, simply by contacing them. I believe they are now know as HireRight.com.

Now a SAP is a DOT. approved drug and alcohol program. If you have to go into this program, It may cost upwards of $500.00 and could take several months to complete. You will then be required to submit to a re-entry drug and or alcohol test and you will have to do random testing for a minimum of one year with at least six randoms within that year.
