If you are clocked out for lunch and your rig gets stolen, is the driver held responsible for any damages or will it be for the company to take responsibility

You're responsible for your truck. OK ? This means take care of it within reason. If you locked it and took the key, you can't be responsible if it's stolen.

BUT, if you left it idling and the door unlocked, then it's on you. Jimmy
