Illinois driver seeking a job

I looking to purchase my own truck haven't been on the road in over 8 years, looking to find work running regional, or maybe O.T.R but that would the bottom half of the U.S

all the southern states from Miami to bottom of TX and all in between. Looking for good hook up with broker or operate to get back in the business with good pay can any one help me out.
