Honestly, I believe trucking is addictive. I've met many drivers who are driving and say they are ready to leave but don't.
I myself could have stopped driving a decade ago. I did for 4 years. Went back to school got a degree. Got offered a job. Came back out on the road. Bought a truck. And lost a girlfriend for not getting off the road making excuses (legitimate in a way but still) as to why I couldn't stop trucking.
I think it's important to consider what else you want to do with your life. You can love trucking and still leave it. Check in with yourself and make sure you not missing out on other things that you also want to do with your life.
You can always go back to trucking if you think you made a mistake.
And please at least learn some skills so that if you want to leave you can. That's the only way I'm able to leave like this. If you want to learn AI. I have developed training for you a truckersidehustle.com
