My husband is just finishing up his training and this whole process has been so daunting. I miss him terribly so he wants me to go with him. I tried keeping myself busy lately, keeping in contact and took a few moments to just be sad a little then picked myself up and got going again. Hang in there.

I hated being without him so much! I packed up my house, put everything in storage and went with him. I couldn't be happier. Obviously if you have kids this is not an option but if you don't have any yet then I would suggest maybe doing this for a year or two then plan from there. You need to have time to be together, get to know each other well and build a foundation for your marriage, then things will fall into place from there. Good luck.

It is VERY difficult having them gone so much! I've seen my fiance 2 times in the past 5 months and we all miss him so very much! Just keep up the communication & try to keep yourself busy with household chores so when he gets home you won't have to spend all your time working on things around the house.

It is one of the toughest things having them gone so much. I will say for me it has not been easy. But you have to love them and talk to them everyday. Tell them about your day and how you feel. You have to let them know you are proud of what they are doing for you and your family. I've been lucky enough to go with my husband a few times and it really makes you look at what they do in a whole new lite. Hang in there and just tell him you love him and let him know how you feel.
