It's just a ride

Well when I met my husband he was a truck driver so I thought I knew what I was getting myself into, lol thought!!

Well here we are married with 5 kids between us and it's a struggle. I never in a million years thought I would miss someone the way I miss him!

We talk on the phone more than we talk when he's home. There's a song by Jason Aldean it's called don't give up on me it's a great song for those girls getting adjusted to being a trucker wife.

If any of you girls are like me we know that it's a tough transition but my husband is an asphalt cowboy and he did try local work to be home with us, but it's just not who he is!

We've figured out how to make our lives go together, I am the work, stay at home mom and he makes the money to make our lives comfortable( mind you we live above standard means) but it's what we're accustomed to.

Do I miss my husband YES, I would be crazy if I said no! He's my partner, my best friend and everything any woman would want in a provider and an amazing father.
