My last company J Melton trucking is a mom and pop outfit in Indiana. Jim (the owner) and his wife are pretty easy to get along with but the pay is lousy.

They pay by percentage and they run cheap paying freight. They have really crummy equipment too. But Jim is a trucker and he does run loads himself so he doesn't ask his drivers to do anything he wouldn't do I will give him that.

I guess I'd give them a 6 and 1/2. If the pay was better and the trucks weren't junk I'd give them at least an 8.
