I was running our family business and the recession and credit crunch hit in 2008. We lost our stores and I was left with outstanding checks to purveyors, contractors and equipment costs.

The cks were returned NSF and I tried for 2 years to pay them down but the holders ran out of patience and filed charges so I pled guilty and am making restitution . This is the only time in my life that I had ever done anything illegal and in the 25 years that I ran the stores I wrote 4 million in cks and never had one go unpaid.
