leaving the truck and going home

this is my first load with this o/o. from Texas to NJ and nothing but problems.. no fuel money and got stopped for no plates on the trailer. two day layover in pa and its Thursday loading up to go to Dallas for Monday. Can i leave the truck in Dallas and go home?

If I were you, I would try my best to get the truck to where it is supposed to be.

If he is not providing fuel or money for fuel for you to get there, that is another story. Especially if he already owes you money.

Seems that you are from Texas. If you are near Home when in Dallas, and you are not under a load, get it to the terminal or his/her home.
